    Mitoku organic yuzu syrup is produced by a family-run, organic food producer located in Shimane Prefecture at the far west of the Japanese mainland facing the Sea of Japan. They mainly use yuzu cultivated by themselves and they also carefully select yuzu from other famous area for yuzu production.

    This yuzu syrup is produced using yuzu paste made from whole fresh yuzu, including the peel. We even add yuzu juice on top of that for the perfect taste.

    No artificial flavorings or concentrated juice are used, allowing the natural aroma and flavor of the yuzu to be fully appreciated.

  • How to use

    With its refreshing aroma and sweet and sour taste, yuzu syrup is a versatile ingredient that can be used in a wide variety of drinks and desserts, from cold to hot.

    Below are some drink and dessert recipes and ideas using yuzu syrup.

    To make one cup of yuzu drink, mix 1 part yuzu juice with 5 parts sparkling water, hot water, or cold water.
    For a hot cup of yuzu drink, add 1 teaspoon of yuzu syrup and pour in approximately 150ml of hot water.
    For yuzu cocktail, pour 30ml of vodka into a glass filled with ice, add about 1 tablespoon of organic yuzu syrup, then top with sparkling water and stir gently.

    You can make refreshing cold desserts such as sorbet, jelly or mix it with vegetable yogurt. It is also great for baking dessert such as pound cakes, muffins, and scones. You can use it as a spread on toast as well.
